CHARITY SPONSORED RIDE AT CROFT, DARLINGTON
The Riding for the Disabled Association's Unicorn Centre will again be holding its popular sponsored fun ride at Croft near Darlington, on Sunday 1 September.
This popular and enjoyable ride on the Croft Estate and neighbouring farms has now become a regular event in the north-east equestrian diary following its re-introduction in 2005 and the funds it raises form an important part of the Unicorn Centre’s income.

UNICORN RIDERS RIDE TO VICTORY AT NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS DESPITE FUNDING SHORTFALL
THIRTEEN riders from the Riding for the Disabled Association’s Unicorn Centre in Middlesbrough have returned triumphant from the RDA National Championships in Hartpury, Gloucestershire despite fears that they would not be able to go.
The lack of funds and a horsebox to transport their horses was causing a real headache for the team, which meant that there was a real chance that they wouldn’t be able to go to the prestigious event on 12, 13 and 14 July to compete in Dressage, Show jumping and the Countryside Challenge classes.
