NOAH RIP DECEMBER 2016
Just before Christmas we sadly lost horse Noah to a fatal colic.
It was a very unexpected and terrible shock as only the evening before Noah was performing at his best with our learners, Supported Volunteers and RDA participants for the End of Term Display Evening rides.
2017 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

CHRISTMAS APPEAL FROM THE PONIES AT THE UNICORN CENTRE
The Riding for the Disabled Association’s Unicorn Centre at Hemlington has launched its Christmas appeal on behalf of its twenty ponies.

SANTA SPECIAL AT THE UNICORN CENTRE
THE Riding for the Disabled Association’s Unicorn Centre at Hemlington has a special date with Santa again this year.
Children are invited to meet him in his Grotto on horseback on Sunday 4 December. They will be able to visit him by riding a Unicorn Centre pony through a magical Christmas-themed course in the indoor arena. His elves will be on hand to lead the ponies, help the children and assist Santa with handing out gifts.

UNICORN CENTRE RIDERS TRIUMPH IN NATIONAL COMPETITION
Disabled riders from the Unicorn Centre RDA group in Hemlington, Middlesbrough have returned triumphant from the RDA National Championships in Gloucestershire. Having qualified at regional events earlier in the year, the riders, volunteers and ponies were able to compete having received a travel grant thanks to players of People’s Postcode Lottery and generous local donations.
