DOG SHOW FOR DISABLED RIDING CENTRE
The Riding for the Disabled Association’s Unicorn Centre is holding its third annual show for four paws instead of four hooves following huge success in the previous two years.
The Centre is holding the companion dog show at Stainton Way, Hemlington, on Sunday 27 September to raise funds. Classes will be open to all dogs (and their owners) and will include sporting and non sporting, most handsome, child handler, prettiest bitch, best ball or biscuit catcher, best rescue and waggiest tail.
Trustee Joan Northend said, “Who doesn’t love to think that their dog is the best in the world? It will be a great chance for dog lovers to meet, show off their dogs, and raise funds for the Unicorn Centre too. It’s going to be a great day!”
Entries at £2 per class or £5 for three, will be taken on the day from 11.00am and judging starts at 12 noon. The event will take place outdoors, but will be moved indoors if the weather is poor. There is ample free parking, and there will be stalls and refreshments. The Judge will be Catherine Fortune.
