PRESS RELEASE ISSUED 29 MAY 2017
£3million windfall for Billingham!
Local disabled riding charity says THANK YOU to players
Residents in line to share £3m win with People’s Postcode Lottery
Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA), a UK charity supported by players of People’s Postcode Lottery, is wishing ‘Good luck’ to residents in Billingham as the Millions draw lands in their postcode. Volunteers from RDA group The Unicorn Centre, based at Hemlington, will be at the Millions event to thank players in person and share in their celebrations. The group supports over 300 disabled children and adults from the Tees Valley area.
“We would like to say a massive thank you to players of People’s Postcode Lottery in Billingham for supporting RDA,” said Sal Atkinson of RDA UK. “We rely on voluntary donations to enable us to provide riding and carriage driving to our disabled participants and the continued support of players has made a huge difference. Good luck for the draw on Saturday!”
The Millions event takes place on Saturday 3 June at The Grand Marquee, Wynyard Hall, Stockton-on-Tees, Billingham TS22 5NF.
