WE ARE WORKING TO BE DEMENTIA FRIENDLY!
We are very proud to have been awarded our Certificate for Working towards becoming Dementia Friendly by Dave Budd, Mayor of Middlesbrough.
Training of our staff and volunteers continues, and we will shortly be arranging some coffee and pony patting sessions for dementia friends. Please get in touch if you are interested in finding out more.
A dementia-friendly community is a city, town or village where people with dementia are understood, respected and supported and confident they can contribute to community life.
