We are a self-funding charity, and rely entirely on income from activities, fundraising, grants, events and donations to cover our annual costs of around £250,000 a year.
Like so many other charities, the cost-of-living crisis has had a huge impact on finances, but we’re determined to make every effort to ensure that the Centre can continue to be a Centre of Excellence and provide much-needed services and support to our participants and volunteers.
We’ve been offering unique health, social and employment opportunities in our region for over quarter of a century.
As well as providing disabled riding lessons, we reach out to the community in many other ways. We offer an award-winning Supported Volunteer programme, regular sessions for people living with dementia, plus visits from our therapy pony Acer. There aren’t any other organisations offering these activities in the area and we owe it to everyone to continue to offer them.
