Pony Care Mornings are being held on Monday 14th and Thursday 17th April for pony-mad youngsters. The three-hour sessions include time on the yard with the ponies, helping with feeding, grooming, tack cleaning and mucking out stables, followed by games in the arena and a riding lesson. The sessions are £40 each for children (with or without disabilities) aged 5 years and over, and must be pre-booked by calling the Centre Office.
Stokesley Town Hall is the venue for the Centre’s annual coffee morning on Good Friday 18 April from 0930 – 1130. Donations of home-made cakes are always welcome!
The Centre’s popular Horse Showing Show for novice and grassroots riders takes place on Easter Monday. There’ll be a range of classes with rosettes and prizes for the winners, plus the championship. Entries should be made through HorseMonkey.
And finally, Dormans Social Club, Oxford Road, Middlesbrough is the venue for the Centre’s Spring Fashion Show fundraiser on Wednesday 23 April starting at 7pm. Lots of high street fashions will be modelled and available to purchase. Tickets are £5 each from the Centre office.
Fundraising Trustee Julie Jackson said, “Fundraising is a vital part of our activities. We are a self-funding charity and need to raise at least £250k a year to keep going. So we’re always extremely grateful for support from the public by attending our events.”
