Fundraising Concert at Stainton Memorial Hall raises £950

We held a hugely successful fundraising concert and afternoon tea at the Stainton Memorial Hall on Sunday 1 February raising £950 for our funds.

Local group Seasonal Singers entertained a packed hall of guests who enjoyed a delicious home-made afternoon tea. Unicorn Centre Volunteer Co-ordinator Denise Sisk gave a short talk about the Centre’s work and its efforts to raise funds to keep providing its important horse riding, therapy and education services for young people and adults with SEND and other disabilities from all over the Tees Valley and beyond.

The afternoon raised the fantastic amount of £950 for Centre funds, so it’s a huge “thank you” to everyone who came along and supported the event.

Some dates for your diaries: Hobby Horse Showjumping on Sunday 8 March - please book as usual through Horse Monkey (link on Diary Dates page). The ever-popular Marske Fishermens’ Choir will be performing in Stokesley Town Hall on Friday 20 March starting at 1900 in aid of the Unicorn Centre.
