We're so very sad to tell you of the passing of our great friend Sue Wilcox yesterday (22.02.26)
Sue was a huge part of RDA for so many years, starting her riding journey with the Gt Ayton & District RDA before joining the Unicorn Centre, becoming a student on our NVQ Horse Care course. She then volunteered for many years on the yard, chatting to everyone and particularly the ponies! She could turn her hand to any horsey job, so it was particularly hard for her and for us, when early dementia robbed her of her ability to continue volunteering. Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this sad time. Sue's funeral will be on Wednesday 4th March 12 noon at St Andrew's Church Ingleby Greenhow followed by a wake at the Dudley Arms, Ingleby Greenhow.
