We're delighted to announce that we raised £2461 at Unicorn Day and £713 at Redcar Races over the last week!

Massive thanks to everyone who came to our Unicorn Day last Sunday. We were so delighted to welcome so many people, and raised over £2640 on the day. Thank you to everyone who supported us and swelled our coffers. Here are the results of some of the day's competitions, and the Summer Raffle:

Unicorn Day - Sunday 13 July 2025

The Riding for the Disabled Association Unicorn Centre’s hugely popular Unicorn Day is being held at its Hemlington base on Sunday 13 July.

Dragons Den at the Riverside Stadium!

On 29 May, Trustees Jackie and Ross presented the Unicorn Centre’s pitch for The Teesside Family Foundation: Together for Teesside Charity Face-off.
We were up against nine other local charities trying to pull on the heart strings of Tony Wedlake, Michael Poole and a bunch of other Teesside business gurus, in a Dragons’ Den/Shark Tank style competition for £20,000.

Goodbye Delilah and Welcome Lola

We've had some changes recently on the yard.  Delilah has retired from active RDA service and moved to a lovely new home where she'll have the best life. She was given a great send-off by everyone, and had her stable decorated by our Supported Volunteers who will really miss her.

MIDDLESBROUGH FREEMASONS CHARITY EVENING

We were thrilled to attend Middlesbrough Freemasons Charity Presentation evening on Tuesday 13 May when we were presented with three donations from Ferrum Lodge, Acklam Lodge and Zetland Ladies.
