Please note that British Dressage protocols will continue to remain in place during the current wave of infections in order to minimise further risk of transmission.  It is vitally important that we all continue to act responsibly in order to protect everyone involved in our sport.   The Unicorn Centre is also continuing with its existing control measures to continue protect all our vulnerable users.

Unicorn Centre site map refers - please note car-parking information, competitor one-way systems for access to and from arenas and emergency toilet access. A Unicorn Centre member of staff will be contactable from 8.30am on 07735756822­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ and for the duration of the competition.  Please ring the Centre office on 01642 576222 at times outside of this and leave a message for the duty staff member, who will respond as soon as possible.

A reminder that a condition of attending this competition is that you agree to adhere to all government advice and BD protocols (including the BD Community COVID-19 Charter) relating to public health and hygiene and at all times whilst on the Unicorn Centre site. The protocols for competitors, organisers, judges and coaches have been updated to reflect these changes but the British Dressage overarching guidance is:

• Vaccination is encouraged for those who can, in order to maximise protection for yourself as well as those around you.
• Take advantage of the free NHS lateral flow tests which help you interact safely and minimise your personal risk.
• Do not travel for competition and training if you have any COVID symptoms.
• Familiarise yourself with the restrictions that remain in place at venues – they are there to protect you, other competitors, staff and officials.
• Spectators at British Dressage competitions can return within permitted numbers, but these should be managed in a way that provides a safe environment for everyone in attendance.
• Face coverings in indoor environments where people are in close proximity continue to be recommended.
• Continue to comply with social distancing where this remains in place.

Respect other members and show officials in their choices and follow the guidance in place at all times.

Some points to note:

Competitors will still be expected to arrive, compete and depart from the Centre in a timely manner.  Sorry, there will be no café or vending machines operating on the day.   Face coverings are required when inside the Centre building. Commanders are allowed for tests, however the Centre will be unable to provide a commander on the day.  Rosettes and scoresheets will be posted out if competitors leave an SAE or can be given out on the day.BRITISH

In addition to the rider, only one other person is permitted to attend per horse.  This could be an owner, trainer or groom, but the limit is one extra person per combination, except Para riders who are allowed extra assistance (see Para specific guidance) and in the case of any under 18’s where an additional person can attend as the nominated parent, guardian or carer.

The gallery will be closed and no spectators are allowed.

Sorry, there will be no café or vending machines operating on the day.
