DISABLED young persons can try a new activity during the Easter holidays – horse riding and horse care, thanks to a grant from Middlesbrough Council.
LACK OF WINTER FREEZE CHEERS LOCAL CHARITY
FINGERS and hooves have been crossed all this winter at a local disabled riding centre that last winter’s big freeze wouldn’t return this year, and with spring just around the corner, luck seems to be on their side.
The Riding for the Disabled Association’s Unicorn Centre at Hemlington, Middlesbrough has been closely watching the weather reports all winter hoping that freezing temperatures will stay away after the disaster that befell them last winter.
